The Annual Gathering.....

Loaded up this morning a ran a few errands around town before our trip.  Ewee was wired and was so excited to be heading out to play.  We finished up with the errands and headed to the house for lunch and a nap.  We got a later start than we had hoped for, but we hit the road headed to the Hall's to meet up with a group of old college friends.  Everyone arrived and all of the children (they nearly outnumbered us!!!) began familiarizing themselves with each other.  Needless to say, it did not take long.  They were all running around while the grown ups got supper ready. 

It was out to the backyard to play on the water slide that Jeff and Lesley have.  They had a blast!!!!!  Ewee did not do the slide, but he was all over the pool.  They were splashing and shooting water guns and laughing and giggling.  They were really cute.

After play time, we were ready to get some food in the hungry kiddos tummies!!!  We had hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings.  The meal was great and the company was the best.

It was a fun night and the kiddos all had a great time.   It make you feel so good to be with friends and watching the kiddos play.  Can't wait until the next time!!!!!!

So my buddy just turned FOURTY!!!!!!

Labor Day weekend was an awesome weekend!!!!  Got a lot of work done around the house like the grass cut, clothes washed (I do NOT understand how 2 males can make soooo much dirty laundry!!!!), floors swept and mopped and got Will's meals prepared for the week. Saturday afternoon I was able to break away and head up to the big city of Monroe to help celebrate my buddy Jeff Hall's 40th Birthday. It was good to be around his family...His 3 kiddos are all amazing...  we played the Wii and ate some good grub and played with a few sparklers before they had to go to bed.   Saturday night we were a bunch of old fogies and were in bed by 10:30!!!  on a Saturday night!!!!!!!!!!   

Sunday morning we were up and atem to help get ready for the party.  It was so good to see some old friends and then make a few new ones.  Jeff has always had a very diverse group of friends and we all had a blast helping him celebrate his birthday.  Just a few of the pics of us all celebrating.  At one point it looked as if the kiddos were going to outnumber the adults!!!!!

What a Busy Weekend

Me and Will were on the road this past weekend. We headed up to Monroe to stay with Jeff, Lesley, Ethan, Jax and Bella. It was a lot of fun and the best part was that the Keller's and the Cumbie's all joined in with us!!!!! It was soooooo good to see everyone and sit a catch up and watch all of the Kiddo's play. I think the hardest part of the day with them was realizing that Will is not a baby anymore. He ate dinner at the Kiddo's Table and was fine the whole time. I guess My Buddy is growing up faster than I realize. I think that the pictures will show you how much fun Will had!!!
