Will and Caroline.....

After a  great week with family, we rounded out the week with a play night with cousin Caroline.  She and Elizabeth were in town this week to visit with Uncle A and Aunt Mary.  We went over after work tonight and enjoyed some delicious food and even got to visit with MaMa and PaPa Guitton.  This kiddo's were all over the yard, playing with toys and exploring.  Of course, on the way, me and Ewee had to have a talk about sharing.  That is something that we talk about a lot....  I mean A LOT!!!!!

They had a great time playing together.   It was a little warm outside tonight, but watching the two of them out playing together was priceless!!!  We had to end the fun because Caroline and Elizabeth had to get ready for their morning departure, but it was so much fun playing. 

Bath time and story time were a breeze tonight.  He was a tired little boy!!!!  Enjoy the pics.......

Kiddo's Playin.....

Ewee, T, Bailey, Mom and Susan all spent the day playing at the house.  They played hard, read some books, OK, some might be modest.....they read a LOT of books, got in some pool time and Ewee and Bailey managed not to argue over a sippy cup. 

I headed to the farm after work for some pool time myself.....it has been plenty hot enough!!!!!   T, Mom and Susan were busy getting supper ready and I joined Pops and Ewee in the pool.  He was a small floating prune when supper was ready.  So it was time to get out and get our bellies full of some good home cookin.  The kiddo's ate like there was no tomorrow and then it was time for more play!!!  Aunt Susan was reading books and Bailey was showing off.  She even managed to strike a pose or two for the camera. 

I think that we all had a great time..... and once I got Little Man home, it was a quick bath time and one story and he was out like a light.  He never even put up a fight!!!!!!!

Two Lil' Ones and some Telephone time....

After work, I went and met the Fam for dinner.  Mom and Susan got to town just in time for supper and we all took the Kiddos to the Brick.  Dinner was fun, but the Green-Eyed Monster reared it's ugly head.  Ewee did not like that someone else was getting some of T's attention.  Thought it would be a little better when I got there, but he did not like it so much when I was holding and playing with Bailey!!!!  After a few minutes, he was better and by the time we were walking to the truck, they were both hand in hand....

When we go to the house, we went ahead and got a bath.  He kept saying "chicken head, Daaadeee, do da chicken head".  Who am I to deprive him of one of the joys of bathtime as a child!!!!!   So I grabbed my camera.  He is just a LITTLE bit of a performer......ya think??

After playing in the tub till he was a big prune, we got on some jammies and headed to the livingroom.  He kept saying that he wanted to call D....  I got to talk to him for a minute....Ewee as you can see, is a phone hog!!!!!  Just makes you smile watching him!!!!!

Happy Father's Day!!!!!!!

Got up and headed to pick up Ewee.  IT IS FATHER'S DAY!!!!!!!!!  We came home and Ewee gave me a cute Father's Day card.  He was insistent that we do a little snuggling on the sofa. We horsed around in the living room for a bit and we watched a little bit of Nemo.  We ate up some lunch and both laid down to get in a good Sunday afternoon nap!!

When we got up from the nap it was time for a snack.  He has become such a creature of habit.  Everyday at T's, he gets milk and the OREO tube cookies.  He looked at the animal crackers that I put in front of him like it was bread crumbs.  We shared a bowl of crackers and two glasses of milk and laughed.  He is talking more and more clearly and putting together better sentences and we just have a good time.  We did a little coloring and dressing up Mr. Potato Head.  I think it is his new favorite toy!!!

 It was just sooooooo hot and he wanted to play outside so bad, so we both got our bathing suits on and headed out to the backyard.  We played in the sprinklers, all of them.  The cold water felt so good, but it took a little coaxing for Ewee to get in the water.  Once Daddy got in with him, he was all about it.  We had the best time!!

Pops and T called to let us know that they were almost to town; they went to Wetumpka to pick up the Princess while Uncle Buck and Aunt Crystal HAD to go to a meeting in St. Croix.  Hope they find my good friend Johnny Wishbone while they are there!!!! We met MaBo, Pops, T and Bailey for supper and they had a great time.  Can't wait....Mom and Susan will be coming tomorrow for the week to play with the kiddo's!!!

 We got back to the house and wound down with a little bit of Nemo and made chicken heads in the bathtub.   Two stories and a few minutes rockin my little man to sleep made for a GREAT Father's Day!!!

The Annual Gathering.....

Loaded up this morning a ran a few errands around town before our trip.  Ewee was wired and was so excited to be heading out to play.  We finished up with the errands and headed to the house for lunch and a nap.  We got a later start than we had hoped for, but we hit the road headed to the Hall's to meet up with a group of old college friends.  Everyone arrived and all of the children (they nearly outnumbered us!!!) began familiarizing themselves with each other.  Needless to say, it did not take long.  They were all running around while the grown ups got supper ready. 

It was out to the backyard to play on the water slide that Jeff and Lesley have.  They had a blast!!!!!  Ewee did not do the slide, but he was all over the pool.  They were splashing and shooting water guns and laughing and giggling.  They were really cute.

After play time, we were ready to get some food in the hungry kiddos tummies!!!  We had hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings.  The meal was great and the company was the best.

It was a fun night and the kiddos all had a great time.   It make you feel so good to be with friends and watching the kiddos play.  Can't wait until the next time!!!!!!

Friday Night Fun!!!!!

After a long hot day, I went to Pop and T's to get Ewee and he was swimming like a fish!!!  They were all in the pool and he was all over the pool.  He was telling me that he "has on my schwimmy DaaaDee".  Pops tole me that he had jumped off the diving board twice today and of course, he walked down and got on it, but would not jump off.  We got dressed and headed to town.  We hit the house and had a big snack and hit the road to go and play with Brock and Evan and swim in the pool.  MORE POOL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!  He is doing so well in the pool.  He was jumping off the side and swimming all over the pool.


After some fun pool time, we headed back to the Harrington's and changed and got ready to play a little bit.  We played Don't Break the Ice, he rolled a motorcycle all over the house and had a snack while supper was cooking.  While we were outside playing and firing up the grill, the sprinklers in the yard came on.  The kiddos were in the yard playing and Ewee would back up to the edge of the spray and let his little legs get wet.  Each time they all ran into the yard and ran back, he kept getting a little closer and closer to the spray.  Next thing I know her was practically standing on top of it!!!!  Who am I to fight it!!!!  They were having the best time.  After 2 zones of sprinklers running and supper being ready, we put on yet another change of dry clothes and chowed down.  He was winding down so fast and was getting tired, so we said our goodbye's and loaded up the truck.  He was talking a mile a minute on the way home and playing with anything he could get his hands on.  Anything that could keep him entertained so that he would NOT fall asleep.  Walking in the door, he was fading fast.....there was no routine tonight except a few minutes of rocking and a cozy nite nite....  We get to do it all again tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!
