A Visit with Grandpa D!!!!

Friday afternoon we had a great treat, Will's Grandpa D came to town for a weekend visit.  D and I grabbed a little dinner and then headed to the house to chill and relax.  We had a big day on Saturday and D was ready to see Ewee.

Got up and got ready and picked Ewee up at 10:00.  Told D to have his coins ready!!!  Will is so into putting money in the piggy bank, I knew that would help to break the ice.  We got in the house and he was a little shy at first, but the minute he heard the coins rattling, he went running for his bank!!!!  I am so grateful that we have been using the Skype and I really think that has helped Will at least see D on the computer and talk to him some.  Even though his attention span is not very long on the computer, I really think that it has helped.  It did not take too long for him to warm up to D at all. 

We had a great time at Aunt Mary's party and he really did not want to leave....., but nap time was hollerin his name..... He gave some "biiiiiig hugs" and is looking forward to D, Pam, Katie and Liddy's visit in a a few weeks!!!!

Amelia Island Plantation 2010!!!!

We loaded up Monday morning and headed for sunny Florida for the week!!!!!  We met up with Uncle Buck, Aunt Crystal and Baaaaaaleeeeeeeee!!!!!  Ewee was sooo excited when we all got there and were together.  He wanted to hold her hand EVERYWHERE we went.  Sometimes to the point of dragging her around.  I think that they had a great time.

We enjoyed some good food, great times and a whole lot of memories.......  here are some of the pics from the week!!!  ENJOY!!!!!!!!

Getting late......

We had the best time with the Fam and wish that we could do this every weekend!!!!  But alas, reality calls and it is time to wind down and get back to the real world.  Got back home on Saturday and washed what seemed like 15 loads of clothes, got a tired little man fed, bathed and down for a much needed night of sleep in his own "comfy bed". 

On a side note......we pottied on the "Big Boy Potty"  most of the week and had very few wet diapers!!!!!!!!!  He loves going on the big boy potty and getting his reward of an M & M.  Oh the things that make us happy!!!!   Bittersweet......  he is just growing up waaaaaaay to fast.  Still feels like we just brought him home yesterday!!!!

Kiddo's Fishin and Hot Summer Nights.....

What a weekend!!!!!!!!!!  Friday night was just the two of us hanging out at the house.  We at supper and just chilled out watching some movies.  He is very much into Toy Story and he loves to watch it over and over.  Kinda repeating pattern, but alas, that is life with a little one!!!!

We got up today and ran a few errands and grabbed a bite for lunch and hit the hay for a nap.  It was a long nap, for BOTH of us!!!!!  When we got up, we had a nice visit with Uncle Roy, Aunt Karen, MaBo, Pops and T.  They came to town to go out to eat and wanted a little bit of play time with Will.  He was on his A game tonight with them; playing, talking up a storm and naming off people in pictures that MaBo had out. 

Then we loaded up and went to the Glover's house for some good food and some fishing.  Met up with the Harrington's and the kiddo's had a great time even though we only got one fish!!!!
