WHAT A WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sun, sand, family, food and FUN!!!!!!!!!  Wrightsville Beach, NC!!!!!!!  It is like an undiscovered slice of Heaven.  It was the neatest place to take a vacation and it is kinda funny how so many post involve food!!!!!  The whole clan got together for a family vacation this past week and boy was it a blast!!! 18 immediate family members in one house and some that stayed close by made for a great week.  Everyone loaded up and went down last Saturday, but we had to wait and leave on Tuesday.   I knew that the trip was going to be eventful when Ewee asks me about 10 miles down I-20 if we were "Nowrth Caroliiiiiina yet"... 

Kinda reminded me of the Bill Cosby piece with the woman from the town North, in South Carolina.......  I'll find the link and post it....  THIS IS HILLARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Click on the words)

So we set out on our 5 hour journey, talking about how we were going to get to NC from where were starting out.  He had a really hard time understanding that we had to go through South Carolina to get to North Carolina.  After a few mintes of riding, he asked if we were in NC yet......  told it would be a while, He finally gave up and wanted to watch a Thomas video!!!!!  To say that I became VERY familiar with Thomas the Train and "Rescue from Misty Island" is the understatement of the year!!!!  We did have a good lunch at Fudruckers in Columbia and he had a ball in that place, and the fact that the lady behind the counter gave him a hat to wear just made it all the better.

We arrived in the late afternoon and everyone was waiting on us.  He walked in the door and immediately went straight to Bailey!!!  Those two are so funny.....  All she could do was point and say "Will"....  They hugged and played and took every toy that we loaded up and scattered them across the livingroom.  Nice addition to all of them that were already out on the floor!!!!!  In True family form, Mom and Momma were in the kitchen cooking up a storm!!! There was ALWAYS something going on in the kitchen!!!  We played hard with cousins all week, rode in the boat out to Shell Island for a great day on the beach, built sand castles, took naps, snuggled with T in the bed before bedtime and had a blast!!!!!  It was so awesome being with that many family members for a good ole family facation.  We definately missed several that couldn't come, but we had a great time!!!!!  Check out the pics......

Playtime with "Shug".....

After supper tonight, we loaded up to go and visit with Baby Avery....AKA "Shug"...  She is getting so big and starting to sit up!!  She'll be walking and talking before they know it.  All Ewee wanted to know was if she could talk yet....  I told him that he will have to help her learn how to talk.....that would be a real treat!!!!  He played with all of the toys....and if it made noise.....  IT WAS ON...and she LOVED IT!!!!!!  They had the best time playing and Ewee was entertaining.....Buddy though, as Ewee says...."he gets nervous".....  We love summertime!!!!!!!!!!!

Birthday party, swiming and more swiming....

Tired little boy slept till 8:30....and that is a late day of sleeping in!!!!!!!!  We got our breakfast in and headed to help H.K celebrate her 6th birthday....HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNAH KATE!!!!!!!!!  Coni Adams-Moore and the crowd at Elite Gym throw a great party!!!!!!   Ewee could get in the door and get his shoes off fast enough so that he could "run real fast"....  He loves to run on the bouncy floor and just on the trampoline and they have more than enough to keep them occupied.  He wanted a second piece of cake too and let everyone there know it!!!!  Kid is not bashful...    

Headed to the house and got in some lunch...we had to get some fuel in that lil body so that we could prepare for the afternoon.  We suited up again and headed to play in the pool with Brock and Evan.  It was so hot, but the pool felt so good!!!!  He played with boats, noodles, swim rings and water guns....  kiddo was all into it.  He is obviously going through a growing spell, because he has been a bottomless pit the past few days..  We had a few snacks and swam a little more and it was time to get out of the sun....it was hot and we didn't need a sunburned little kiddo....When we got home we put on some comfy shorts and had a little bit of quiet time....  I think that we read the Thomas book 10 times while sitting on the sofa.  I was hoping for a little nap time, but he was definitely not feeling that!!! 

We had a few hours to wind down before we loaded up for a great cookout!!! Potato salad and Oreo pie in hand, we headed out to Marsha's to swim with Kate Kate!!!  She was a little fish herself....in and out, in and out and in and out of the pool!!!!

They played hard and they would have played well into the night!!!  They had plenty of time in the pool tonight and it was time to get some grub!!!!!  Ribs, potato salad, corn on the cob, home made cole slaw and Oreo pie for dessert...  fine way to finish off a fun filled day!!!!!!!!!!  He made it to the house without falling asleep, but he was a tired little puppy!!! 

 Pretty much sums it up!!!!!
