We had a great weekend with Grandpa D, Grammy Pam, Aunt Katie and Aunt Liddy, we even had Zack with us for the whole weekend (fresh from Basic Training)!!!!!!

Dinner with MaBo....

Had a good supper cooked and we called MaBo to come over and eat.  We talked about school and what all Ewe is doing with all of the other kiddos, but I think the main thing that he wanted to do was sit down and watch a movie.......

Happy Birthday Aunt Mary!!!!!!

Today we got together to celebrate Aunt Mary's _ _th birthday.  I can not put it out there, because in true Aunt Mary fashion, a true Southern Gentleman would neither ask nor share a woman's age!!!!  We had the best time!!!!!  Me, Ewee and D headed over and walked into a house full of FAMILY....  All of the Moore children were there gathered to celebrate the Matriarch of the family's birthday.  Imagine all of the rooms in the house flooded with family members sitting, standing and hugging; all  catching up on what all is going on in each others lives.  Talking on the phone is good, but nothing soothes the soul like standing there face to face to see each other, to share a hug or a pat on the back.  Then you throw in barbque, stew and all the trimmings and you have a GREAT day.  In true southern form, the desserts were bountiful, but no Moore gathering would be complete without a big box from Ryal's Bakery.  LOTS of brownies.....  with the blonde brownies hidden in the bottom of the box. 

Will, Caroline and Caleb kept the entire crowed entertained with all of their shenanigans.  It was so good to sit back and watch the 3 of them play together.  Neither of the kids was about to let one of the others get any more attention than they were getting, so there was a constant ebb and flow to whoever was willing to pay attention to them.  Needless to say, with all of the folks gathered at the house, attention was NOT is short supply!!!  They all had a blast!!

The messes were cleaned up and the crowd began to thin, so we knew that the day was coming to a close.  I am sure that a weary and tired hostess/birthday girl, began to try and wind down from all of the excitement.  It was just so good to have everyone together.
