Lovin some cousin time.....

Uncle Buck, Aunt Crystal and Bailey all came over for a weekend of fun.  We got to do a little work, a lot of playing and some good eating.  I have said it before, but nothing feeds the soul better than your family making memories and eating good food!!  After me and Uncle Buck got the deck started, Will and Bailey having a ball in the yard, we all sat down with MaBo to have some fresh quail, grits and some other trimmings.  Nothing like everyone putting their feet under the same table sharing good food, good conversations and reliving old stories.  It just makes it better that we have little ones with evolving personalities and making memories of their own!!!!

Afternoon fun....

As with the tricycle, the daily stroll with the "Motor Gator" is on tap most every afternoon.  We unlocked high gear today and I can tell you, I have to hot step it to keep up with him!!!!!  It is never a dull moment when we go out for an adventure.....  We see all kinds of things, and sometimes, we just get to laugh....A LOT!!  Kid is too funny!!!!!

A Boy, his toy and a puddle......

  Loaded up after work and took the "Motor Gator" to the farm to do a little riding....out of all of the acres that are available to ride, we seemed to hone in on a very small piece of real estate.  Yes, a 4' x 6' mud puddle. When I got it out of the truck and put it on the ground, he was riding around the front yard and asked if he could go to the barn.  He knew exactly what he was doing.  There is a puddle that is always out there and he made a bee-line for it.  He eased through the puddle testing what the Gator would do when going through it.  Once he knew it would handle the puddle, it was on then.  He rode around, and around, and around and around.

 And the FUN has begun.....

 Happiness is a boy, hit toy and a big mud puddle....

 Got to get both wheels IN the mud.....

Fun times....now bring on the Hot Chocolate!!!!

I think that he had a really good time.  Just too cold and not enough daylight!!!!

SOMEBODY has been VERY good!!!!!!!!

So Clifford the elf has obviously been giving the "Big Guy" some good reports!!!!!  He walked in the living room to Pops, T and MaBo and I think he was a little overwhelmed....  He was silent...for a few minutes at least.

 After we checked out the "Motor Gator".....we headed back in and ate some breakfast and Pops, T and MaBo all had to get one the road...  Me and Ewee headed back to the living room to play...  just not enough time....

A big and imposing figure, but the most gentle, caring and compassionate man that I have ever known in my life. He had a big, deep, boisterous laugh that would spread through the room like wildfire. I could go on about Will for days, but I can sum it up in just a few words: He was everything that I want my son to grow up to be.

I miss you Bubba.....you would have a ball with my boy!!!!

Just watched a video Frank did of you......Ahhhhhhhhh.... that laugh!!!!!!!  Rest in Peace.....

With all of the crazy scheduling, Will isn't going to get to see Baily on Christmas morning.....  So Pops and T wanted to celebrate with the two of them today.  We ate some good supper and then we let the paper ripping begin....
