What a great Friday!!!!!

A male bonding day for Will....  This morning, Pops met us at Black Springs Church for the switch off and they were off to have breakfast together at the house.  They ran a few errands and then it was on the tractor to do some work on the farm.  It had to be cut a little short because someone couldn't keep their eyes open....(may be a new nap inducing method!!!)   A little nappage and then on to Sparta to have lunch with Tuts.  She was filling in at the Sparta Farm Bureau, so the three of them had luch in Sparta together.  

I picked Will up about 1:30 in the middle of a great and much needed rain storm.  So, we came on to the house and played a little and tried to fit in a nap.  I should have brought the tractor home, because he was not feeling the nap thing.  I kept hearing him in his room and decided not to fight it.  I went in and picked him up and took him to the front door to show his some more of the rain that was falling.  I went to check and see if he needed to be changed and lo and behold.....THERE WAS NO DIAPER!!!   I kinda chuckled and asked where his diaper was and he just grinned and giggled and pointed towards his room.  This kid ain't dumb....We got on a fresh diaper and put on some clothes and off to Wally World we went.  

His new thing whenever we are out around other people is to squeal, grin, wave and say "Hey"....TO EVERYONE we pass.  So he got his fill of waving at people while we were at Wally World.  It is Tax Free shopping weekend and it was a madhouse!!!!We came on to the house and I made French Toast with sausage...He ate 3 pieces of toast and 2 links of sausage.  Kid has an appetite, FO SHO.  Once we got supper all cleaned up and a bath to get rid of all of the syrup he had on his body, it was on to the living room.  We got out all of the blankets in the house, made a huge pallet in the living room floor, threw lots of pillows down and put on Ratatouille.  I don't know if he had more fun rolling around the pallet or watching the movie.  There is a huge disadvantage to only having the two of us in the house at any given time.  I missed a picture perfect moment that probably will not happen that often in my life.  He was running around, I was laying on the pallet and the rat, Remy, was on a tirade.  Will decided to sit down and straddle my back.  Next thing I know he lays on my back, just laying there watching the movie.  I was about to explode because I could not get my camera and take a picture.  Nonetheless, just one more moment that will be burned into my memory with my awesome son!!!  He started yawning not long after that and it was off to bed.  What a way to end a week!!!  We have a super busy weekend with birthday parties, yes more than one, and catching up with friends....  Sorry no pictures, maybe next time!!!
