C.P.R. and Will......

Now I know THAT title got your attention.  We had an AWESOME weekend!!!!!  Picked Will up for Pops and T on Friday afternoon and hit the dinner table...he ate like a champ.  Loaded up and wend to see Corky, Paula and Rowan(C.P.R); they were in town for the weekend to visit and we made plans for some play time for the kiddos.  They both did so good together and Rowan tried to help Will understand the concept of sharing.  She is so patient with Will.  They were building castles and playing with cars in the floor as proud parents, grandparents and a spry Great Grandma J watched on.  Of course, it is always good to have a chance to sit and visit with Corky's family.  We wound up the night with hugs and kisses and of course we did not have the camera out when that was happening.  He was just grinning from ear to ear.  After all that playing, I had one tuckered out lil man on my hands and we both fell asleep in the rocking chair.   Those are the best nights!!!

Saturday's weather was the best that we have seen in a LOOOOOOOOOONG time.  When Will got up, we made big breakfast and sat around watching his favorite cartoons.  One show that he loves to watch is Super Why on Public TV.  He amazes me when he watches this show.  It is about finding letters and and words, so he watches VERY intently and screams out the letters as they show them on the TV.  Just leaves me in awe...  After Super Why, he was intent on doing some coloring; so we loaded up the desk with some paper and plenty of color crayons.  He is REALLY into circles!!!!  I told Will that he was going to need a big nap because we had a busy afternoon and the weather was going to be beautiful.  As little fight as he put up, I think he was still a little worn out from playing last night.

We got up from nap time and had a big lunch and it was time to get outside!!!  The sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky and the temperature was perfect.  We got on the tricycle and hit the streets.  We rode down to the parking lot at the pharmacy, hit the ramp a few times, rode through the puddles, and even rode over to the fountain at the hospital. 

He loves to scream at the ducks and throw rocks in the pool.  Looks like I will have to get a load of gravel over to the hospital to replace what he throws!!!  Corky, Paula and Rowan called a little later in the afternoon and said to head over that way.  Rowan had been asking when Will was coming over all afternoon.....  as you can see they had a great time running and playing together.

At least I am taller than SOMEBODY here!!!!

We played and ran and snacked and drank until the sun went down and the temps made us go inside.  The kids played a little more inside and then it was time to head back to Matheson Road.  We ate some dinner, got a much needed bath and then the two of us settled in to watch a little bit of The Bee Movie.  I think that we both kinda drifted off and we even skipped story time.  WHAT A DAY!!!!
