Road Trip, Little Boots and Playing at the Party!!!!!

Me, Pops and Ewee hit the road early Friday afternoon for a road trip.  We had snacks, a full tank of gas and movies for a sleepy boy.  We made good time and got to Wetumpka in time for supper.  Nothing like steaks on the grill and plenty of play time for cousins.

Saturday morning we got up and ate a good breakfast because we headed out to the Little Boots Rodeo.  This was the best time.  Will and Bailey got to see some Mutton Bustin, Goat Tyin, a Goat Scramble, Calf Roping, Truck Racing and the Boot race.  Will was in awe of all of the animals that he got to see.  Although, the little boy with the toy truck sitting next to us seemed to have Will's attention more than anything.  A friend of Bucky and Crystal's had a son competing and Brody even won the Boot race!!!  Way to go Brody!!!!!

I think he was excited!!!!  This was just before Ewee told Bailey "Don't cwiiieeee Baaayleeee"  It was priceless!!!!

 Is she not the cutest???!!!???

 Clapping for the "Little Boots"

This Little Boot was all business...

 More truck racing....

 A Little Sheep Herding.......

 A Little Goat tying.....

After the rodeo, we hit the road to grab a bite to eat.  We had two tired little ones on our hands and nap time was in order.   Oh, and Ewee and Bailey needed naps too!!!!  Everyone cashed to get some rest for Allie's Graduation party.  Before we went to the party, we went down the road to see some cows.  You know Ewee was all about that.  He really like the bull.....
 Having fun in the swing....

Hey Pops....is he as big as my bull????

See Bailey, THIS is how you start it up.....

 Concentration...

I guess I can let her drive.......

In between the storms, we headed out and went to help Allie celebrate graduating from Auburn!!!!  There was good barbecue, good friends and some entertainment.  That is about all I can say about that.  At one point, Will thought that it would be fun to run out in the rain.  I was able to corral him back and before I could get the words out of my mouth, he was back running out.  He was laughing and giggling and thought that we were playing a game.  He was too cute!!  Before the night was over, he was playing with all of the other kiddo's and I'll just say that there was a puddle in the middle of the pavilion that became the center of attention.....ALL ATTENTION for anyone under the height of 36".  I 'll have pictures to follow.

Sunday morning we got some breakfast a lot more playing, but, all good things have to come to an end.  The road was calling and the day was passing.  We hit the road for the ride home and made it through most of the movie.  Heavy eyes was weighing down on Ewee and we coasted in the drive in time for supper.  Bath time was a breeze and story time was short.  One tired little boy who had a great weekend!!!

Love,

B & W
