Jones, Jones & Legere!!!!!

What a great evening!!!  Will and I have a cousin in town for a visit and we had the best time.  We went to Uncle A and Aunt Mary's house to have a visit with Elizabeth.  Living in Alexandria, with a growing business, a wonderful family and a busy life, visits with "Wiz" are treasured!!!!  Pops and T dropped Will off at the Jones' house and he immediately went for the toys.  Aunt Mary keeps some toys for Will's little cousin, Caroline.  Within minutes they were strewn all over the living room and he was a happy little boy.  Of course, a new face means a little time to warm up, but before long he was letting Wiz tie his shoes and almost kiss a boo boo.

Wiz cooked a great dinner and in true Aunt Mary style, Will ate his first meal off of china and silver!!!   We had all of his favorites: chicken, butter beans, rice and peas.  A new discovery of blueberries (he ate all of mine!!!) and other fresh fruit for dessert made his night.  I was so proud of my Buddy.  He sat at the big table, eating off of fancy plates with big boy utensils and did it soooooo well.  He continues to work on using his manners.  He is so funny, he understands the concept of saying no 'mam and yes sir, but he gets the gender a little confused.  So, the work continues.

It is always nice to visit with Family, but when you have the special treat of having family from far away, just makes it much better.  After showing off after dinner and cleaning up all of the toys, Wiz called her daughter, Caroline and I think that Will may have scared her to death.  In true Will form, he was hyped up and was almost yelling at Caroline on the phone.  They "talked" for a few minutes and it was time to go.

Bath time, story time and rocking nite nite was a breeze.  I am really enjoying this new phase we are in.  He actually WANTS to rock longer now.  He still loves for you to scratch his back, stomach and arms while you rock, be the BEST part is when he reaches his little hand up to my neck and lightly scratches my neck.  It is one of the most cherished moments of my day.  Love you Buddy!!!!
