There was a little bit of switching around on the schedule, so I got my Buddy back on Sunday!!!!! We had the best time. We played with a few of the toys that Santa brought Will, caught a nap, had some yummy snacks, and even cooked a pot of vegetable soup. Uncle John and Aunt Amy stopped buy for a visit and to see what all Santa brought Will. They brought their dog, Buddy, who Will LOVES to make nervous, but he stayed pretty close to John on the sofa.... Of course, we had a little Nemo action going on the TV. Props to John and Amy.....Nemo is his favorite new movie EVER!!!!!!!!!!
The weather has just been bitterly cold for Georgia. We have not had a cold Winter here in a while, so I guess that we are due one. With a 2 year old......that poses a few challenges. He wants to be outside so bad, so when we got home after work, we added gloves and a scarf to the outfit of layers and coat and hat. Pops and Tuts gave Will a new bell to go on his handlebars of his tricycle, so he was dying to get to the tricycle and ride. Since we were already bundled up, it was off for a ride to the parking lot down the street and back. The ride was cold and short, but the bell was rung the entire time that we were outside. I think that he likes the bell!!! It was supper, more play time, bath and a few books. Definitely a good night with my Buddy....
Tuesday, we came on home and had some stick to your ribs soup and grilled cheese. Will thought that it was better to eat the sandwich from the inside out, so supper was a little interesting. He ate two helpings of soup and we bundled up to go and see Aunt Mary and Uncle Alling. We had a really good visit with them and Will got to play with his cousin Caroline's toys. He thought that was pretty cool. The whole way home, he kept talking about his bath. EVERY word that he knows to associate with his bath was streaming out of his mouth like water out of the faucet. He is talking up a storm these days and it is never a dull moment. Bath, story time and nite nite went like a well oiled machine. He is just too cute.
Looking forward to the weekend. We are only supposed to have a high of 30 degree of Saturday, so that will make keeping him entertained a bit of a challenge. As long as he had paper and crayons for his new art/entertainment desk, I think that we will make it!!!!
