Avery invited me and Will to a church covered dish picnic at Bonner Park this afternoon. We arrived as the sun was falling behind the trees, so we had so good shade. There were kiddos running around over both playgrounds and swing sets as parents kept a watchful eye and enjoyed catching up and meeting new friends. After a while of play, the picnic was started. Hot dogs and tons of sides with cool lemonade to wash it all down. We laughed and enjoyed food and fellowship with lots of new friends, but we always love to play with "Shug"...

Before we knew it, bath time was calling for a sweaty little boy who was getting tired. After a good scrubbing, we got on our jammies and wound down the night with a few stories from our Curious George book; he was asleep before we could start the third story. We love summertime!!!
